I’m posting this from a secret location deep inside communist Loas.
Actually it’s no secret. I am here in Vientiane – the nation’s capitol – and things are fine. This is a beautiful nation filled with lovely people and very bumpy, dusty dirt roads. We are here getting some footage for a project that I can’t totally get into in an open blog post, but I will say that it has been a fun time, despite having our passports confiscated by the local police.
We just discovered after arriving in the capitol yesterday (and thus, back into internet range) from a trip to the countryside that there were rumors floating around that we had been arrested. Let me clarify: I am very UN-arrested.
We are doing well and are finishing up our trip here. We do not have our documents back yet. Keep an eye out for photos and more news in the coming days as I (hopefully) get back to Chiang Mai.
Hello! We are the Brays. And we love Muslims.
