We had to get out of our guesthouse this past week, since it was booked full. So we went ahead and moved into our own place… which we’d signed a lease for on June 1, but still wasn’t quite ready yet.

Moved in the afternoon of the 25th. To a house with no water. Which means no showers and no flushing toilets. Apparently 25 days notice was not enough time for the landlord to figure out how to fix the water issues and get the place ready for us.

Ahhh… the joys of living in a time-is-not-so-important culture.

Thankfully we now take showers, etc. But still no internet access at home. 5 days and counting. How long can I survive without CNN.com and email?
