We had the… uh… opportunity (is that the right word?) of waking up to find that Thailand is in the midst of a Coup. Sad, yes. Though thankfully nobody has reported violence yet.

We are safe and things are very quiet here in Chiang Mai. Schools have been canceled, banks are closed, and the streets are pretty calm – certainly no rush hour traffic yet.
